Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in Norwell, MA is seeking a Director of Technical Accounting. This client is a technology solutions company, specializing in manufacturing and industrial applications. This role will work within a hybrid work schedule and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities:

• The Director of Technical Accounting will supervise technical accounting assessments, such as segment reporting, purchase price allocation, derivative accounting, debt refinancings, and goodwill analysis


• Research application and determine potential effects of new accounting standards


• Review SEC financial filings


• Provide accounting guidance to global teams


• Prepare technical accounting documentation


• The Director of Technical Accounting will contribute to the quarterly reporting process


• Collaborate with auditors


• Drive process improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance


• CPA required


• 10+ years of technical accounting experience


• Solid understanding of GAAP and technical research


• Strong Excel skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
