Kforce has a client in Valencia, CA that is seeking a UI Designer responsible for creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces for their website and mobile app. The UI Designer will enhance user experience by designing interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. They will make daily decisions regarding design aesthetics, user interface elements, and overall user experience.
Responsibilities
Creating innovative design solutions, developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and incorporating user and stakeholder feedback into design improvements; Focus on blending aesthetics with functionality, iterating designs based on feedback to ensure the final product meets user needs and business goals
Working closely with Lead Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency across all platforms and to integrate design with backend functionalities; Regular meetings, feedback sessions, and collaborative workshops
Lead, mentor, and develop junior designers and manage external contractors, including UI designers and UX copywriters, fostering a collaborative design culture and encouraging creativity and innovation within the team; Setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and ensuring that external contributions align with the project's vision and standards
Developing and maintaining comprehensive
design guidelines to ensure a cohesive look and feel across the website and mobile app; Standardizing UI elements, color schemes, typography, and other design components
Keeping up-to-date with the latest UI trends,
technologies, and best practices in design; Attending workshops, reading relevant publications, and applying new knowledge to ongoing projects
Monitoring user interactions with the product and analyzing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement; Using analytics tools to understand user behavior and making design adjustments accordingly
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
