Job Description:
Location: REMOTE
Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cloud System Engineer IV to work remotely with up to 60% travel across the United States.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for designing and implementing the integration of IT systems and infrastructure during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess existing IT landscapes, and develop strategies to ensure a seamless and efficient transition.
- Conduct thorough assessments of the IT infrastructure and systems of both the acquiring and target companies.
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities related to IT integration.
- Design the integrated IT landscape, considering scalability, security, and performance.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems from both entities.
- Develop strategies for data migration and oversee the execution of data migration plans.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Possession of relevant Azure certification, preferably related to architecture. AZ-305 or AZ-400 highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, and data management.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven experience in IT architecture with an emphasis on Azure cloud. Focus on mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
