Description: Our client is currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team!
Scope of Role:
Location: Oviedo, FL
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Job Engagement: Contract
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Greets patients as they arrive and manages 20 minute wait time.
Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
Enter all referral, hospital, outpatient, DME and other patient specialty health service authorizations into the computer system according to Company policy and procedure.
Receives consultant reports, maintains documentation, and routes to the appropriate physician promptly.
Answers phones and schedules appointments.
Completes all administrative functions
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
2+ years of customer service experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, ect.)
Experience with eCW (EMR system)
Bilingual Spanish speaking
