ECS is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer - Mid to work in our Washington, DC office.
Job Description:
Identify security issues and risks, develop mitigation plans; architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security focused tools and services
Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
Participate in projects that develop new intellectual property
Perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
Conduct acquisition and vendor risk assessment due diligence
Perform technical activities for delivering effective and secure cloud hosting services.
Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
Evangelize security within the customer's company and be an advocate for customer trust.
Mentor junior team members
Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000

Required Skills:
Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or comparable years of related work experience
3+ years' experience in the following:
Participating in security compliance efforts
Developing and delivering training materials
Tier 2 and Tier 3 security operations support
Incident handling
Cloud Technology
Cloud Security Compliance Remediation (preferred)
Experience with auditing tools, intrusion detection/protection devices, security Benchmarks, Incident Response Handling, and NIST publications.
Ability to perform under pressure and handle change easily while meeting deadlines.
Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing form
Work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction.
