The applicant will assist with completion of current research projects. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Conduct molecular assays to characterize genes in fungi associated with resistance to fungicides.
30% - Essential - Conduct lab assays to determine fungicide sensitivity of fungal pathogens in vitro.
30% - Essential - Assess interactions between biological fungicides and conventional fungicides using detached fruit assays.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent - Work experience in a related health care setting or in a clinical or research laboratory setting; or 12 semester hours of academic training in biology and/or chemistry; or registration as a Certified Laboratory Assistant by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent registry; or successful completion of a formal program of instruction for laboratory assistants at a hospital or academic institution.

Education - Bachelor's Degree - Plant Pathology Work Exp 1+ years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
