This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of field office support functions including, but not limited to, the following: loading, weighing, and ticketing trucks, preparing daily load summaries, managing inventory, accepting payment, basic typing and word processing, filing, answering calls, light bookkeeping, courier duties, customer relations, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate equipment (loader, scale, etc) safely and efficiently.
Rock yard maintenance.
Inventory sales and receiving.
Keep time and material records.
Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
Knowledge of weight requirements and loading restrictions.
Excellent customer service and sales skills.
Strict adherence to company policy regarding inventory and payment collection.
Travel to and from various work locations.
Utilize various software systems.
Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient business operation.
Qualifications

Ability to comprehend and follow various instructions
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Speak and articulate clear verbal communication through various media - email, two-way radio, face-to-face, etc.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of general computer operation; Inventory and Order processing systems; knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver's license required
CDL Required
