Description:
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of lung cancer research with a focus on molecular imaging. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the pursuit of independent scholarly investigations in that field, specifically in the area of molecular imaging related to lung cancer and esophageal disease; and education of laboratory personnel, including research fellows.
The successful applicant will be expected to develop an independent but related research program in support of divisional research efforts. Past grant writing/reviewing/submission experience is preferred.
