Job Purpose
?The candidate will be talented and experienced as a Power Platform Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting an existing application built on the Power Platform, implementing enhancements, adding additional functionality as needed, and creating new applications. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will play a crucial role in optimizing and expanding the capabilities of our business applications to meet the evolving needs of our organization on the power platform. This is an onsite position in Fresno, California, with the IT Department at the corporate office in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using the Power Platform.
Maintain and support existing Power Platform applications, troubleshooting and implementing necessary fixes.
Design, develop, and deploy new features and functionalities within the Power Platform environment.
Customize and extend Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high quality and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to end users, including training and documentation.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform development and recommend innovative solutions to address business challenges.
Required Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
2-6 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Proficiency in building canvas and model-driven Power Apps and creating custom connectors and flows in Power Automate.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service) and its data modeling capabilities.
Experience integrating Power Platform applications with other Microsoft products (e.g., Dynamics 365, SharePoint) and third-party systems.
Solid understanding of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate are a plus.
