Key Responsibilities:
Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using
Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
Observe all company quality and safety procedures
Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
Participates in Lean manufacturing events
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree in a relevant field or (3+) years of experience preferred
Must have 3 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers
Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
Great communication skills
Must have Aerospace experience
5axis set-up experience is a plus
Familiarity with Haas and or Mori DMG Machines.
Experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, and steel
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with manual inspection using gauges and instruments in support of CMM inspection by the Quality Department
Strong work ethic and attention to detail is a must
Must be able stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Flexible schedule, availability to cover 2nd shift if needed.
1st shift: 5am - 3:30pm
