General Summary
Responsible for the development and administration of the social fraternity and sorority system. Manage the day-to-day operations of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) including advising, training, leadership development, advisor/alumni engagement, relationship management with international organizations, and chapter accountability. Contribute to strategic planning and execution, program development, budget, marketing, technical operations, and student staff development and supervision. Provide general administrative support to Campus Life.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of college student development theory and practice as acquired through the completion of a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel, Student Affairs, or Higher Education Administration is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience coordinating programs and services for social fraternities and sororities, advising governing councils, and advising Greek judicial boards and/or Greek conduct processes in an institution of higher education or at a national social Greek letter organization is required.
Proven ability to apply comprehensive, culturally inclusive knowledge of student developmental theory to educational programming and services is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, risk management, and other issues/concerns specific to social Greek organizations is required.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and assessing new and existing programs and services for college students is required.
Demonstrated ability to program for and manage/supervise large, diverse groups of college students, student volunteers, and student employees is required.
Experience in basic fiscal management, such as developing and managing program budgets, is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Excellent management, leadership, detail-oriented organizational skills, and time management skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to use basic and some advanced functions of Mac and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite, the internet and web-based forms is necessary.
