Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Cyber Security Analyst will monitor security systems and networks for signs of suspicious activity or potential security breaches
Analyze security incidents and investigate root causes to determine the extent of the threat and develop appropriate response strategies
Implement and manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications, and recommend remediation measures
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures that align with business objectives and risk tolerance
Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies through continuous learning and professional development
Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
Proven experience (3+ years) in cyber security or a related field
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption
Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
