Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Governance 3 in Salem, OR.

Responsibilities:


  • Personal data identification within different systems and data repositories

  • Data Governance 3 will conduct validations of metadata to reduce false positives and false negatives

  • Metadata analysis for accuracy, consistency, and completeness

  • Identify data owners against active directory (AD)

  • Help Define execution and analysis of BigID scan outputs

  • Use data visualization tool (tableau) to communicate executive status' to leaders and incremental progress to stakeholder teams

  • As a Data Governance 3, you will provide process recommendations via documentation to automate and operationalize analysis

  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of data management, governance, quality, and data privacy

  • Experience working in multi-cloud environments e.g., Azure and AWS. For AWS primarily, EMR, S3, Redshift, Athena, etc.

  • Experience with data warehouses/RDB like Snowflake, redshift, etc.

  • Expert problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Expert using BI tool (Tableau) for dashboarding

  • Expert running SQL and using python, R, or Excel

  • Understanding of data bricks and Lakehouse

  • Understand governance and BI tools, such as Collibra and BigID, and Tableau

  • Must be trustworthy in keeping sensitive data confidential






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
