JOB SUMMARY

Motivated, driven individual that will be of a member of our ROS Firmware team in developing, debugging, and supporting solutions used to collect, maintain, digest, interpret, and present data collected in a Retail environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding of and familiarity of mechanical, electrical, imaging and mechatronic systems involved In AMR operation


• Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly-changing work environment


• Experience with systemd


• Experience with Python and C++ programming


• Familiar with various Linux tools (NetworkManager, OpenVpn, tmux, salt, Yocto)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REOUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university


• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience and/or training


• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Professional Engineer


• Experience with ROS is required


• Familiarity with multiple types of environmental sensing devices such as LIDAR, RGB cameras, human detection cameras, etc. is required


• Specific requirements as defined by the market sector


• Combination of education, training or relevant experience will be considered
