JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Driver manages vehicle transporting materials, goods, equipment. Driving 53 Foot Trailers locally within city limits, transporting Jabil Products.

Salary will range from $29.00/ hour - 30.00 based on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Operates trucks to transport materials, goods, equipment
·         Supervises the loading and unloading of the vehicle
·         Responsible for the cleaning, and minor repairs of the truck
·         Acts as assistant storekeeper in the warehouse area or with system transactions, as needed
·         Assists with loading and unloading inventory from Warehouse to the vehicle
·         Supports all programs and initiatives in the areas of health, safety , environmental and quality
·         Supports all programs and initiatives related to the code of ethics values ​​and beliefs of Nypro
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required




• CDL License is required, along with min. of 1 year experience




• Clear/ clean driving record is mandatory




• Fluent in English, both in speaking / written usage




• Mechanical knowledge and ability to detect abnormalities in the unit




• Knowledge of traffic regulations and Knowledge of customs policies nice to have




• Warehouse experience (Fork -lift and inventory knowledge) is preferred




• Availability to work Overtime hours as needed
