We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. The intern will primarily be responsible for conducting time studies using Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) in our manufacturing processes.

What will you do?


  • Time Studies: Conduct detailed time studies of manufacturing processes using MTM. This includes observing, recording, and analyzing activities to establish standard times.

  • Process Improvement: Use data from time studies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the manufacturing process. Propose and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.

  • Documentation: Document all observations, data, analyses, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Maintain accurate records of time study data.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to understand the manufacturing process and implement improvements.

  • Training: Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures. Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with time study methodologies (will be working closely with a subject matter expert)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to clearly organize data for quick reference and collaboration.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
