Job Summary




This role includes callback.




Successful completion of peri-operative course in an approved school required.




CNOR is preferred, One or more years of O.R. nursing experience required.



The RN functions as a member of the Healthcare team in a manner consistent with their scope of practice in Pennsylvania in concert with the policies and procedures of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation & documentation of care provided, and patient response to interventions. The RN promotes image enhancement on the organization and its service.

Qualifications



*Please note that St. Christopher's Hospital for children requires BLS from the American Heart Association. If you have BLS from another affiliation, training will need to be completed and obtained thrugh the American Heart Association before your start date.


**RN positions may also require PALS though the American Heart Association



Education:



  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.

  • Successful completion of peri-operative course in an approved school

  • CNOR is preferred




Experience:



  • One or more years of O.R. nursing experience


Licenses/Certificates:





  • Licensed and currently registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

  • Valid Healthcare Provider CPR certification required


Education Requirements



  • Bachelor of Science in nursing
