Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible for managing complex projects and multi-project programs for key clients that advance Best Buy Health strategies. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define program scope, outline execution plans and then meticulously manage to ensure deliverables meet deadlines. The ideal Program Manager candidate is a naturally curious problem solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills, a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to stakeholder engagement. They’re passionate about building relationships in complex healthcare settings and are driven to successfully plan, execute, and oversee programs that align with business requirements and organizational goals while delivering exceptional value.

This position will be remote first, with an opportunity to report in-person if located in the Boston metro area; possibility for travel for in-person meetings, events and training.

What you’ll do

● Collaborate with multi-functional team leads to craft and define plans for moderately complex programs and projects
● Generate, maintain and organize work planning documents and coordinate delivery of all program deliverables and artifacts. Conducts routine analysis to track program progress and update plans as needed.
● Tackle, analyze and untangle thorny challenges with a diverse, multi-functional team
● Own creation and management of program documentation to facilitate communication with stakeholders at all levels
● Support the connect of PMO practices & programmatic implementation by executing projects that support Best Buy Health’s broader strategic vision
● Encourage a diverse and inclusive culture on their teams and others

Basic qualifications

● Minimum of 5+ years project and program management experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare sector
● Proven experience managing complex projects within the healthcare or medical device industry.
● Ensure successful delivery of projects and program, ensuring business requirements and objectives are met
● Exhibit excellent project/program management skills: manage dependencies, anticipate risks, raise and resolve issues in a timely manner, track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines

Preferred qualifications

● 3+ years’ experience with project management software like Smartsheet, Workfront, Wrike, Jira etc.
● Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
● Influence the adoption of new tools, methodologies, or practices to improve program efficiency as part of the PMO’s standardization strategies
