The Johnson County Auditor’s Office has an opening for a Deputy Auditor of Accounting and Payroll.
This position is responsible for:
The administration and coordination of payroll and accounting functions, including general ledger and accounts payable, for Johnson County.
Collaborate with Finance Department on County budgeting and financial reporting functions.
Hire, train, and supervise Accounting and Payroll division employees.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field AND two (2) years of experience in accounting or payroll with one (1) year supervisory responsibilities;
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Master’s degree and two years supervisory experience preferred.
Special Requirements:
Must pass background check.
Valid driver’s license and insurable under county liability coverage.
May also require use of private vehicle or equivalent transportation for official business.
