The Senior Supplier Quality Engineering Manager is a leadership position responsible for driving world-class supplier quality and reliability for new product introductions.

The primary focus of this position is on the Pre-Market Product Development side of the business with a strong emphasis on supplier quality for the design and development. The role involves leading a team of supplier quality engineers across multiple geographic locations ensuring engineering rigor and quality system requirements are applied to suppliers and their processes. This position will establish overall supplier quality engineering strategy and objectives for the new product development projects as well as process improvements to the quality management systems. This position will involve staffing, coaching, and allocating Supplier Quality Engineers.

Together with Development team, create/manage a technically rigorous supplier qualification process and efficient pre-market quality system that consistently enables product performance risks to be identified, characterized, and mitigated to meet or exceed stakeholder and project requirements.

Peripheral Vascular Health therapies treat patients with Peripheral and Carotid Artery Disease, End-Stage Renal Disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Diseases, and a variety of conditions treated with Peripheral Embolization. The operating unit leads the way in the Superficial Venous, Deep Venous Stenting, AV Access, and Drug-Coated Balloon markets, caring for over 1 million patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies.

The PVH operating unit offers a diverse portfolio of devices and therapies to treat restore the right blood flow to the right patient.

This position is in Plymouth, MN. within the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) operating unit and requires on-site presence three days a week.

A Day in the Life

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Supplier Engineering Manager. T his includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Functional manager for a team of supplier quality engineers and contractors ensuring portfolio execution in NPD.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback on job performance and manage career development.

• Ensure the PVH Supplier quality processes are efficient and compliant.

• Drive Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) principles/process at suppliers

• Support for regulatory submission preparation, and internal and external audits

MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical discipline

• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in Engineering, Science, with 5 years of managerial experience, OR Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or technical discipline with 5 years of managerial experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Design Assurance Engineering &/or Research and Development in a regulated environment.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully provide technical direction and communicate technical risks and opportunities within areas of limited information. Able to solve complex problems that require creativity.

• Ability to perform well in cross-functional development teams.

• Experience with improvement tools preferred: six sigma, lean manufacturing, and theory of constraints

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations).The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience,certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.

Base pay is based on numerous factors and may vary depending on job-relatedknowledge, skills, and experience .
