Job Description
Design and build state-of-the-art oligonucleotide synthesizer platforms
Expertise to integrate platform including liquid handlers, thermocyclers, incubators, plate readers, washers, and a robotic arm
Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate and select appropriate robotic equipment, instruments, and consumables to support project needs
Manage timelines, capital purchasing and budgeting objectives for new project
Collaborate with the Global teams to create automation workflows that advance lab goals
Program instrument software and methods for automated liquid handling systems including Dynamic Devices Lynx, Tecan, Hamilton, Beckman Coulter (ECHO)
Experience with Integrating data outputs into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Design, develop, build, deploy, and support custom lab automation and instrumentation solutions
Perform required maintenance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise with liquid handling equipment and other general laboratory equipment to support automation
Qualifications
Experience with implementing and maintaining automation solutions inclusive of systems integration and verification
Partner with the Labs R&D scientist to understand workflows and provide solutions
Prepare SOP documentation
Minimum Requirement: 7+ years of technical experience in relevant technical field (industry or academia) with Bachelor's.
Experience leading and mentoring teams preferred.
