Description: Our client, a leading organization in the sports industry, is currently seeking a Senior Data Architect to spearhead the development of a groundbreaking data analytics platform. This role is instrumental in leveraging data to enhance performance analysis and decision-making processes, setting new standards in sports analytics.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Design and implement a scalable, efficient data architecture for a new analytics platform, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements.
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring high levels of data quality and accessibility for analysis.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive the project from conception to completion, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.
Develop and optimize ETL processes, improving data flow and reducing latency.
Produce comprehensive architecture diagrams and documentation, supporting the platform's development and facilitating maintenance.
Identify and resolve technical issues, enhancing the platform's performance and user experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions.
Expertise in cloud-based data storage and processing technologies, with a preference for experience in Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and advanced ETL processes.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the sports industry or with sports analytics platforms is a plus but not required.
