The Zalk Josephs team is offering a challenging and exciting career opportunity as a Part-Time Driver. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety.
Primary Responsibilities
Operates vehicle in accordance with Zalk Josephs Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
Deliver structural steel and miscellaneous items to different job sites.
Maintain good communication with staff regarding schedule and condition of vehicle.
Remain flexible for unscheduled loads throughout the week (8-40 hours per week).
Fuel vehicle as needed and provide gas receipts to the Manager or appropriate staff for processing.
Present self in a professional, courteous, and businesslike manner to customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
