The Traffic Engineer works under the supervision of a more senior engineer as a member of a design team performing traffic engineering design tasks for Local, County and MDOT projects out of the Livonia office.
As part of our dynamic team, you will perform traffic engineering tasks for a wide variety of projects that include:
Traffic Studies
Signing
Pavement Markings
Signal Design
Maintenance of Traffic
Design and Construction Documents
What You'll Need to Succeed
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must have experience in either MicroStation or AutoCAD.
Synchro/SimTraffic is strongly desired.
Roadway design and Highway Lighting experience is a plus.
Experience with VISSIM, SignCAD, and AutoTurn are a plus.
Experience with Michigan agencies, including MDOT, is a plus.
