The Wealth Associate is responsible for helping with sales and service initiatives in the Wealth department. In this role the Wealth Associate will work towards gaining familiarity and eventually proficiency in all required systems and processes, relationship management, business development, and financial planning with the goal of advancing into a client facing role. The Wealth Associate will focus on growing professionally while supporting the business needs of the department. They will help to free capacity for more Senior Wealth Advisors, Fiduciary Officers, and RPS Specialists so they can focus on increasing sales revenues and providing outstanding client service.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
The Preferred Banking Leader will consistently maximize opportunities and develop high performing teams by managing and driving key behaviors focused on an advisory sales approach centered around:
Assists with managing non-complex client relationships including selection of asset allocation strategies and basic financial plans
Will assist with proactive outreach to team members Book of Business to drive client engagement
Maximizes client satisfaction to ensure retention of clients; aids more Senior Wealth Advisors in expanding relationships by assisting with sales and service efforts
May work with Retail/Commercial business partners on less complicated sales opportunities where appropriate
Complete certain client requested actions as directed by supervisor
Assists in the completion of various tasks within the appropriate Wealth operating systems (e.g. AddVantage, Investor's View) as instructed by supervisor
May be asked to assist on department projects as needed
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
0-3 years of experience in professional environment, financial services experience preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other general operating systems
Experience with financial planning software preferred
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
To obtain CRPC® or FPQP® designation in first 180 days in role
