The VIE is a French international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals. It's not possible to realize a VIE mission in your native country (for ex. Spanish in Spain). In our Andover R&D center, 30 miles from Boston.

What is the Position?

Your mission will be to support the Schneider Electric projects within Secure Power project teams to define and to fix the most robust bill of material for the new developed products. It has to be done according to the R&D needs and according to the Schneider Electric procurement strategies.

Which missions will you lead?

• To define the purchasing strategy for the project in accordance with Schneider Corporate Purchasing


• To promote, identify and bring supplier markets opportunities within product developments (Early Supplier Involvement, innovation from supplier.)


• To ensure those strategies implementation during the new product project period in order to minimize the projects time to market, increase our offer technical attractively in the respect of lead time, quality expectation, products components continuity.


• Supplier selection, request for quotation management, full costs comparison, determine the final material and services costs, negotiate prices, negotiate the other terms & conditions, and define the logistics.


• During project development and industrialization phases, to set the needed contracts with the supplier commitments to reduce the supply risks.


• To lead and finalize the procurement project deliverables in line with the Project Management Process.


• To animate some QVE analysis and redesign projects.

Education:

• 
  Master's degree in purchasing or Supply chain, or Engineer.

• 2 years of experience in Procurement, mainly on Electronics & Electricals component & design domains.

• Your capacity of animation and your comfortable ease in relationship will allow you to lead people in the right direction with best technical and economical compromises in the respect of purchasing and projects rules.


• You're curious, creative, and reactive; you know how to bring value added solutions in timeline with the project planning's and project teams.


• 
  Your capacity in writing English (C1 level required) and negotiate in this language are mandatory to fulfill the position in a multicultural and international environment.


• Customer oriented, your leadership and listening will allow you to take in account all project constrains.
