Job Description:

Under direct supervision, the Structural Engineering Associate will assist Structural Engineers with the preparation of building structure design analyses, plan preparation, and construction administration. Spring 2024 college graduates are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform structural engineering analysis and designs for various building types and materials.
  • Perform calculations for building gravity and lateral structural systems in accordance with local building codes in both the US and international locations.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction drawings.
  • Assist in the construction administration phase of a project by reviewing shop drawings and responding to requests for information.
  • Gain structural engineering experience with the goal of attaining a professional engineer license.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must have a B.S. in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • 0 - 4 years of experience working in civil or structural engineering.
  • Must be E.I.T. certified prior to employment.
  • Experience with STAAD Pro, RAM Structural System, Microsoft Excel, MicroStation, AutoCAD and Revit are preferred.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are preferred.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $63,500 - $74,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
