Purpose of Job: Performs repairs on production facility equipment.
Job Duties:
Assists other mechanics.
Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from maintenance manager.
Records work done on forms provided.
Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Identifies parts needed and maintains inventory of parts in stockroom.
Performs equipment change overs.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude and equipment operating skills.
Good oral and written communication skills required.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
Must occasionally (0%-33%) climb, sit, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
