Rope Access Manager- Houma, LA

Intertek is searching for an Rope Access Manager to join our Asset Integrity Management (AIM)team in our Houma, LA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services!

The Rope Access Manager is responsible for the scheduling of Rope Access crews as well as maintaining the required equipment for rope access inspection. Must be willing to be on call 24/7/365.

What you'll do:

• Communication with all Clients through Phone Conversations and Email
• Communication with Office Engineering regarding inspection data.
• Tracking of PME and calibrations.
• Performing Audits on Field Personnel Quarterly.
• Scheduling and Administering of training as per SEMS requirements (Annually)
• Keeping up with Utilization Logs and Surveys as per NRC
• Testing of Personnel for Certifications
• Communicating with Intertek Personnel for Drug and Alcohol Screening
• New Hire Package
• Gathering of Mechanical Integrity Equipment for projects
• ISNetworld for Qualifications per Client requirements
• Building Maintenance Manager
• Requests for upload of ComData Cards
• Tracking of Rope Gear
• Ordering of Rope Gear
• Assistant Radiation Safety Officer
• Purchase Order Requests
• Purchase Card Receipt Upload in Works / Bank of America
• CMOS Certified: Administer Training

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• Valid Drivers license required
• TWIC Card required1
• 10 year experience in mechanical integrity
• UTT, MT, PT, CR/DR, RT, Certification and/or 10 years experience in these methods required
