We are seeking a Military & Federal Installations Planner to join our growing team. The position can be located in either of the following offices (Hybrid work permitted): Huntsville, AL; New Orleans, LA; Colorado Springs, CO.
Primary duties include leading, directing and managing multidisciplinary teams through every phase of critical Federal Planning projects, including DoD and non-DoD, to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
An accredited Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Planning, Engineering, Architecture or Design
At least one (1) year of experience as a Project Manager/Planner, w/ at least five (5) years of experience in a planning, architecture, engineering, design or construction organization.
Professional registration (AICP. PE or RA) and experience within the Federal client arena is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired within one year of employment.
Requirements:
Knowledge of contract and task order management, project delivery, and client relationship management
Knowledge of Federal contracting and procurement process and procedures is a plus
Knowledge of Planning requirements for federal facilities including DoD and non-DoD Federal agencies
Knowledge of facilities design criteria
Effective communication skills are critical - writing skills, Acrobat or Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Software
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work with people and strong presentation skills required
Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize activities and meet deadlines

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Military Planner III with a salary range of $71,700.00 - $109,600.00 .
