Tarpy is one of the nation's leading providers of plumbing and heating/air conditioning and we are looking for a Service Coordinator in Santee, CA. As a Service Coordinator you will be responsible for scheduling and maintaining installation appointments for customers. This position ensures that all necessary materials are ordered, permits pulled, staffing met and customers contacted to ensure successful installation of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities
Schedules and manages HVAC installations with sales staff and customers
Answers client and customer questions through inbound and outbound calling
Addresses and resolves any issues with installations when they arise
Issues purchase orders and orders all equipment for upcoming installations
Pulls all necessary permits for installations
Inputs proper notes to keep installation technicians informed of job details
Reports problems and unresolved issues to manager or director
Provides excellent customer service
Other job duties assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education
1-2 years' experience in customer service or client relations.
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments
Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to meet and exceed set goals
Excellent customer service skills and experience gathering customer information and keying it into a computer
Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
