Job Description:

Location: Valparaiso, IN

Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer. The Reliability Engineer is directly responsible for maintaining and controlling maintenance spare parts for the plant operations. This position is responsible for the day to day operations including stocking, pulling, and issuing spare parts along with providing assistance to plant personnel when identifying and locating spare parts.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Commit to excellent service for all customers.
• Follow safety, behavior, and training rules.
• Store and handle materials safely and orderly.
• Make sure the right parts are given out.
• Stick to guidelines for managing spare parts.
• Conduct inventory checks and audits correctly.
• Help find and order critical parts quickly if needed.
• Ensure enough spare parts are available for maintenance.
• Help with power outages and maintenance planning.
• Work on ordering spare parts and finding cost savings.
• Discuss and manage spare parts orders and purchases.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or similar.


• At least five years of leadership experience in steel production or industrial manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

• Good at managing union workers.
• Focus on safety.
• Familiar with Excel and Oracle software.
