ECS Federal is currently searching for a full-time Infrastructure Oversight Technical Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to work collaboratively and bring creative solutions to our Veterans Health Administration (VHA) clients. In this role you will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an EHR Software Integration Lead. Serve as technical leader for a subset of all interfaces supporting OEHRM implementation. Acts as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms. Coordinate between interfaces and all infrastructure areas including environments and LAN/ WAN configuration.
Salary Range: $140,000-$155,000

Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. An additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
Ability to perform as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms.
Experience seeing projects to completion.
Experience performing feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field.
Desired Skills:
Experience with large scale, enterprise systems integration/interface and deployment.
Experience managing core technical aspects of IT related projects.
Knowledge and experience using a variety of interfacing strategies, especially middleware/SOA.
Knowledge of VA Network capacity planning activities around VistA.
Knowledge of Visio, Cisco Prime / Riverbed, Cisco CCIE, and OpNet (a combination of Netscout/Netflow and Solarwinds SNMP data).
Knowledge of Network security.
Experience in the VA.
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records.
