About the Role



We are looking for a seasoned Quality engineer with a passion for leading high-performing teams. Do you have a strong background in Quality Engineering, Software development, a deep understanding of API integrations in the insurance industry and experience or understanding of low code COTS products? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Quality Engineering Lead.



Job Responsibilities:




Technical Leadership:



  • Lead and build a team of talented quality engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of insurance-related applications with Innoveo (Low code development Platform)

  • Provide technical strategy and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Manage the full quality engineering in the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand project scope, requirements, and timelines.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing automation, KPIs and metrics, and agile delivery methodologies.




Insurance Industry Expertise:



  • Leverage your deep understanding of the insurance industry to contribute valuable insights and domain knowledge to the team.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our solutions.




Requirements:



  • Develop and implement quality engineering strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and testers to achieve project goals and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to drive quality improvements throughout the SDLC.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure software quality, test coverage, and release readiness.

  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

  • Conduct regular quality reviews, audits, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigation strategies.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on quality engineering practices, tools, and technologies.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to quality engineering and software testing.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with Innoveo or other low code products/platforms.

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in software development, quality engineering.

  • Strong background in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of insurance products and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing software quality.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing testing strategy and integrations.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

  • Experience in cloud-based development and deployment testing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Certifications in relevant technologies or project management.
