$75,000.00 - $105,000.00 base salary + Short Term Incentive Bonus Plan Eligible

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial principles and methodologies. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze financial data, assess market trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with annual budget preparation and administration.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, ranging from monthly actual to budget variance analysis to specific line of business operations and performance analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including financial results summary, financial forecast templates, financial review presentations, and other ad hoc reports as needed.
• Provide weekly executive summary report with key performance indicators to leadership team.
• Provide financial and analytical support for mergers and acquisitions.
• Prepare corporate capital expenditure reports and funding requests.
• Support long-term strategic planning process.
• Support monthly and quarterly accounting close process.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and planning processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate company performance against targets.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial performance and recommending strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
• Conduct industry research and benchmarking to identify best practices and competitive trends.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and perform due diligence on potential acquisitions or partnerships.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
• Proven experience (2-5 years) in financial related analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or investment banking environment.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and finance concepts
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications (SAP, Hyperion Financial Management).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, analyze and make decisions, and process information in an organized, timely, and accurate manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.

• Minimal travel required to various meetings, training, and conferences.
