As a growing business within Nucor Corporation, Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for:
Maintaining operational data and assist with various financial related projects.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and various general ledger entries.
Create and maintain ad-hoc reporting and KPI's at management's request.
Be involved in analyzing and reporting on raw materials and other operational data for manufacturing, safety, and quality; as well as maintaining internal control structures.
Maintainandcontinuously improve the internal control structure.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related business field with major course work in accounting
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of business and accounting principles and practices including business fundamentals regarding price, revenue, fixed & variable cost, margins and profits
Computer Skills - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degreehighlydesirable
CPAand/or public accounting experience preferred
Experience with use of Oracle ERP financial software system
Experience using database driven ad-hoc querying tools
Manufacturing accounting experience
