Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

This Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a manufacturing team (10-20 people) in a clean room environment on our graveyard shifts. This is a long-term position which offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, and more. The Manufacturing Supervisor will support our global client onsite in Corvallis, Oregon.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of a manufacturing team in a clean room environment.
  • Manage staffing levels including time off requests, flexing technicians between manufacturing assignments/labs, etc.
  • Meet regularly with customer stakeholders to share work progress, set work priorities, verify staffing coverage, share quality issues, and resolve safety concerns.
  • Work with Site Director on process improvements in assigned work areas.
  • Daily reporting of key metrics with a detailed pass down for the oncoming shift.
  • Strict enforcement of clean room policies including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety rules.
  • Coach employees on performance and work with Site Director on Performance Reviews.
  • Track employee training certifications and lead the Safety Team on the assigned shift.
  • Working with equipment and machinery with various levels of sound.


Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Supervisor experience, manufacturing and/or clean room experience is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office suite and ability to use manufacturing software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations, draw and interpret graphs/data, follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in English-speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Experience with OSHA Respiratory experience preferred.
  • Be physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods, climb step stools, bend, kneel and stoop frequently.
  • Be willing to perform repetitive, sometimes sedentary work.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to follow detailed directions.

  • A competitive pay range of $23-26/hr (depending on relevant experience).
