Responsibilities

Complete Building Services is adding an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to our team. You will be supporting one of our educational partners in Annandale, VA. Hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F.

The major job duties are listed below:

• Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
• Install ceiling tiles, light bulbs, replace ballast, work on sloan valves and basic plumbing
• Maintain equipment to industry standards
• Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required
• Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reports of system status as directed by supervisor
• Run wiring, cabling, and ductwork, and mount equipment according to specifications as directed
• Place or remove systems and equipment as directed
• Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders

Qualifications

• General building maintenance knowledge
• Professional, task oriented with the ability to work in a school environment
• Excellent customer skills
