ProPath is currently seeking a Document Processor to join our leading practice in Dallas, Texas.


The Document Processor will be responsible for scanning a variety of documents and electronically organizing (indexing) them, so they are readily available to other departments. Position requires accurate data entry and quality review of all scanned information.

Location: Dallas, Texas 75247




Hours: Flexible up to 8:30 am start/8-1/2 hour shift




Day: Monday - Friday




Full-Time/Benefit Eligible




Some primary duties, include:

• Scan all correspondence, explanation of benefit (EOB) documents, requisitions/order forms, patient demographic information (copies of insurance cards, etc.), and any other pertinent information.


• Perform data entry (indexing) to adequately associate scanned documents to the correct system records (patients, claims, payments, etc.).


• Retrieve documents scanned in other departments and verify that scanning has been accurately performed and that documents can be found in appropriate network locations.


• Research and resolve document retrieval issues reported by other departments quickly to avoid delays in providing patient results and/or billing processes.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:



High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers and management. Basic knowledge of alpha/numeric data entry using a keyboard.



EXPERIENCE:



A minimum of 1 year working in a business office preferred.
