Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine if items need to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
Record information into the system regarding items shipped and received
Help to provide information to clients or to management as far as inventory management and inventory auditing
Work closely with supervisor and manager to keep processes running smoothly
Qualifications
Understanding of transportation and logistics, or the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Administrative and customer service experience
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with word, outlook, and excel
Ability to acquire a TSA certification if needed (background check)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
This is a temp-to-hire position paying 18-20/hr depending on experience
This position is located in Essex, MD (considering candidates in the greater Baltimore area)
Hours for this position are 7am to 4 pm
