Summary: Responsible for front-line communication with our customers and consumers regarding all product, program, and availability information. Will have between 18-24,000 contacts with our customers in the course of a year. Responsible for providing internal support to 3-6 assigned sales representatives.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist customers/sales reps by entering, reviewing, and adjusting orders, and advising them of sales programs.

  • Administer sales programs by consistently applying proper terms/discounts to each order.

  • Answer customer inquiries re: product performance, construction, & availability.

  • Analyze incoming inquiries and formulate a plan to resolve each in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate special requests with other departments to ensure orders ship as requested.

  • Analyze current processes/procedures & identify/implement ways to improve.

  • Solicit customer feedback to determine level of customer satisfaction with problem resolution.

  • Assist with training and development of new members of the CS Department.

  • Recognize trends and call attention to unusual activity encountered.

  • Support Sales & Marketing with special projects as assigned.


Requirements:



  • 2 years college. AS or BS degree preferred.

  • 2-4 years customer service / golf industry experience required or 1 year as an Acushnet Company Associate CSR.
