The Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for the Winter and Spring terms of the 2023-2024 academic year. We seek excellent teachers and experienced practitioners to teach in the following technical and/or policy-related areas:


• GIS


• Survey Methods and Questionnaire Design


• Financial Economics, specifically ESG


• Technology & Cyber Security


• Environmental and Energy


Candidates must have at least a tentative idea for a course or seminar to be offered, as well as expertise and experience directly relevant to the course or seminar being proposed.


Qualified candidates must have a graduate level degree; a PhD is preferred. Candidates must have relevant or policy-related experience; prior experience teaching students is strongly preferred.


We will review applications on an on-going basis throughout the year, beginning on October 28, 2023, but will stop accepting applications for the 2023-2023 academic year on April 1, 2024.
