The salary range for this position is $122,779 - $153, 473 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY

This senior manager role involves managing all aspect of project management related to product changes on all brands at Kendo. This individual is responsible for owning its own projects while leading a team of project managers and ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of product change initiatives.

This person is responsible for all change management project plans while considering the business objective, supporting the team in executing all project launch timelines, and overseeing the associated product change management scope. The ideal candidate should have good understanding of all aspects of the supply chain operations, knowledge of business financials, and able to communicate clearly on project status to executives. A successful person in this position should have a good balance in meeting the needs of cross-functional stakeholders while having a holistic view of business objectives and change management principles.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate their team while fostering a collaborative work environment. They should be adept at strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans for managing product changes, aligning them with overall business objectives and ensuring that they support the organization's long-term growth and success.

Flawless Execution: owner of its own projects and able to proactively prevent foreseen issues and execute projects while keeping a synergy among partners

Team Leadership: Providing strong leadership to the product change management team, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Team Support: leveraging relationship with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues to achieve business objectives. Stepping in to managing project in detail levels when needed.

Project Management: Overseeing the planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of all product change initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams across departments such as R&D, engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality assurance to ensure seamless coordination of product changes.kb

Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization within the product change management function to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, minimize waste, and improve overall operational performance.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with product changes and developing strategies to mitigate these risks while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization as well as external partners or suppliers to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and outcomes.

Resource Allocation: Allocating resources effectively across different projects based on priority, urgency, resource availability, and strategic importance to the organization.

Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from team members and identifying opportunities for enhancing processes or methodologies related to product change management.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all product changes adhere to relevant industry regulations, standards, safety requirements, and quality control measures.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • BA/BS Degree required

  • PMP certification is strongly preferred to demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Asana, MS projects, or Smartsheet

  • Minimum 8-10 years of combined experience in any of these areas: Project Management, Change Management, Supply Chain Planning, Regulatory, Compliance, or related business fields.

  • Minimum of 3+ years related work experience leading New Production Launches (NPI) projects (Cosmetic Industry preferred).

  • Good understanding of supply chain principles and practices including procurement, manufacturing process, quality control procedures, logistic, inventory management, supplier relationship management, and distribution processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders across different functional areas within the organization.

  • Proficiency in business financial analysis including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, financial modeling skills using tools like Excel.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution with highly focused attention to details. Clear and concise verbal and written communication

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
