The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Division of Orthodontics, is seeking a Student Assistant. The Division of Orthodontics offers a full range of orthodontic services to patients, including a DentoFacial Surgery Program and Craniofacial Program.
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA‐recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.
The Student Clerical Assistant functions as an integral member of the team of care providers in the College of Dentistry to provide administrative support for patient care and resident research. The duties will include data analysis, data entry and preparation for academic duties for the faculty.
Schedule varies; Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening.
Required: HS Graduate or Equivalent
Desired: Knowledge of medical and/or dental terminology, ability to work independently on assigned tasks and has excellent written and verbal communication. Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
