Responsibilities:
Support the design, prototyping, documentation, and demonstration of components of an advanced geospatial processing system and advanced geospatial workflows in pursuit of new business opportunities.
Lead edge of advancing the standards of practice for geospatial technologies at Lockheed Martin.
Work within a team to design, develop, deliver, and support software and GIS workflows that solves our customers' varied challenges.
Design, develop, test, document, and demonstrate advanced geospatial workflows
Process varied geospatial datasets
Prepare presentation materials
Present new technologies and workflows
Support the team in planning and strategy workshops
Contribute to the requirements evolution and integration of the software used in global geospatial data production
Participate in agile planning meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience with GIS desktop applications i.e. ArcGIS Pro/Desktop, Global Mapper, QGIS.
Experience with photogrammetry and/or electronic light table (ELT) desktop applications i.e. ENVI, Erdas Imagine, SocetGXP.
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience with U.S. DoD GEOINT mission requirements
Extensive data production, formatting and manipulation experience with Digital Elevation Models, Satellite Imagery, Point Clouds and Derived Datasets (Vector/Raster, PCs and 3D Meshs) used in large scale correlated databases.
