Day-to-Day
Oversees all technology operations, including systems, projects, voice, data, security infrastructure, and software/hardware effectiveness.
Devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the organization.
Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. At least ten years of experience managing IT for an organization or and department.
Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR and ability to be insured
