The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and quality nursing care to students in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring the well-being of students.
  • Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunizations, and maintain accurate health records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, delivering immediate care as needed.
  • Foster a positive and supportive healthcare environment that promotes student wellness.
  • Educate students on health-related topics, empowering them to make informed decisions about their well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive healthcare plans.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required. A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred. Regional Approval required.
