Job Description: YRCI is seeking a full-time Staffing Specialist, Associate. to support our Human Resources Remote Operations Center (HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts! Although the YRCI home office is located in Reston, VA, this position is fully remote. Initiate pre-employment process such as security, medical, drug and/or fitness tests as necessary. Explain basic merit promotion procedures to employees. Update merit promotion case files in USA Staffing and keeping appropriate logs. Instruct candidates on the proper way to complete and apply for a position and ensuring complete and accurate information. Provide support for HR specialists who perform recruitment and staffing duties for an assigned block of services. Participate and/or contribute as a member of a team on human capital initiative(s). Respond to inquiries concerning HR entitlements and services, processes, procedures, and requirements. Locate and verify information from records, files, and office personal folders. Perform detailed review of records and other documentation in preparation for further analysis and processing. Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy and follow through to obtain missing or corrective information. Process a full range of recurring actions or forward requests to HR specialists or other employees when further processing is required
