Cash Receipts Specialist at Ardurra Group, Inc.

Job Description:

Ardurra is seeking an Cash Receipts Specialist to join our accounting staff in our Miami, FL office.


Primary Function


To be a part of the Accounts Receivable team processing cash receipts and applications for multiple companies within our organization.


Primary Duties



  • Post daily deposits from various channels (ACH, Lockbox, physical checks, etc.) for multiple bank accounts within multiple ERPs

  • Ensure cash receipts are properly applied to the invoices

  • Coordinate with Project Team about billing discrepancies and questions

  • Review unapplied deposits and resolve with Accounting and Project Teams

  • Engage management over any AR problems you encounter

  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

  • Assist in month end close process

  • Assist with audits and other projects as needed


Education and Experience Requirements



  • High School Diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred and 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and similar areas.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 products with an emphasis on Excel.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

  • Familiarity with Deltek preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to interact in a professional manner.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
