This role is responsible for supporting Project Engineers and Project Managers with the planning and design and execution of infrastructure projects such as road, water, drainage, rail, bridges, ports and site development.

Your Role:

• Perform routine project tasks in accordance with standard engineering procedures
• Assist in development of engineering plans, packages and technical specifications
• Assist with field engineering for sidewalk and bikeway program
• Provide CADD design/drafting for treatment facilities
• Support team with permitting, outside reviews and site evaluations
• Provide assistance for preparation of time and cost estimates
• Maintain accurate permitting and contractor submittal logs for projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from accredited university.
• 2+ years' experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles and technical design; previous internship/work experience in civil engineering firm preferred.
• Problem-solving and mathematical reasoning skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience in MS Office, AutoCAD/MicroStation
